About the mural

Fishing The Clackamas was the first mural painted by the Artback, completed in a day with house paint. This began an amazing tradition and proved us an impactful arts organization. It was restored to its original beauty in 2011.

Jenny Joyce designed this mural with the idea of illustrating one of the great gifts of living near the Clackamas River, that of fishing. The pristine beauty of the Clackamas River is the pride and joy of Estacada. It is home to Spring Chinook and Coho Salmon, Steelhead and Rainbow Trout. Come on out and try your luck!
